A Day of Buttons Button Art Workshop Sat. June 21, 2008 9a.m.-3p.m.
Make 2 heirloom canvases at this workshop ...each canvas will be painted, papered, distressed, and embellished with buttons. You will make a 8" x 8" canvas and a 6" x 6" canvas. Tips and techniques on mixing and layering Tim Holtz distress crackle paints, antiquing your canvas, plus more!
Please bring to class your basic tool kit, Black Soot Crackle Paint, Antique Linen Crackle Paint, Antique White Acrylic Paint, Burnt Umber Acrylic Paint, at least 2 flat paint brushes, paper towels, sanding block, foam plates and cup for mixing paints, ultimate glue.
Student Level: Everyone can make these projects with our EZ tips and techniques...beginners welcome!
Red Lead workshops are for adults 18 and older.

A Rubber Stamp Convention Sat.& Sun. June 7&8
Red Lead will once again have a fabulous booth at the Collinsville Rubber Stamp Convention on Sat. June 7th and Sunday June 8th. The store will be closed on Friday June 6th and Sat. June 7th.
Everything but the kitchen sink for rubber stamping will be at this convention...hope to see you there!

A Vintaged Beauties Workshop Sat. June 28, 2008 9a.m.-Noon
Handmade. Handpainted. Handstitched. Handstamped. Paint and paper a 6" x 9" shadowbox. Stitch a fabric photo to fabric to create this vintage fabric photo collage. Embellish with a big brad, ribbon, and handstamping. If you can sew on a button, you can stitch this darling fabric collage! Please bring to class your basic tool kit, 3/4" flat paint brush, leaf green acrylic paint, antique white acrylic paint, and a sanding block.
